What you stood for, Where you stand now, Where your gonna be standing tomorrow

It doesn’t matter how old you are but it seems that you catch yourself at moments just thinking about the past and how much has changed in such a short amount of time, am I right? I’ve been a graduate from high school now for three years and it still to this day gets me wondering where the time fly…..

I sit often wish that i could have the years back to make things right, prevent from events from happening, could have done this or done that but we all know that this isn’t a fairy tale, it’s realilty, it’s just memories that we can only hope to learn from them and to become smarter people at most. I do, don’t get me wrong wouldn’t take my past and trade it for a different one because if so then I wouldn’t be the guy i am today for better or worse because at this moment i do beleive that I am what God is wanting me to be and where i am for this is the place in my life God’s guiding towards. Our past only sets us all up for where He’s pushing us in the end….His kingdom, our gift from Him! The past, good or bad is just the mere beginning to a beautiful story to be told to others to inspire, to lead others. I’m starting to realize that throughout my high school days i would grab others attention but was it for their good or for my own personal gain? Well i am saying it was for me and me only and now looking back thats something I would have loved to take back and to give all that to God, to grab people’s attention like that and to have maybe used my so called “fame” to lead others to Christ because that’s or should be everyone’s purpose, to grab a hold of moments and shine God as bright as possible to however many are willing to lend an ear. I say to you readers, would you give your all to Jesus? Would you take that special talent and use it for God’s grace? Without the past there wouldn’t be a future, without “the” sacrifice there wouldn’t be a salvation to look towards.

-Keep fighting through because on the other side, there’s something worth fighting for-.

Learn from our relationship with Christ and adding it to our daily relationships could make all the Difference!

Sometimes we are afraid to get back out there, get back up after we’ve fallen down. Sometimes it seems like we should just fold and be defeated. We’ve all felt this way, we’ve all had thoughts of just getting out of a situation by running away but I’ll tell ya that ain’t the solution but mere a short-term fix. To fall is to get back up, rise up and gain knowledge of what took place to make sure that we have a better future and altogether a better ending when it comes for us. Jesus tells us that in order for us to live forever beside Him, to have everlasting life we must show our faith by showing Him we put all things in His hands and to give praise..to be born again in His holy name, to let Him into our sinful hearts is the Way to that wonderful, everlasting life we’ve heard about! 

In life we go through with failures, relationship break-ups, all of which weigh us down but there is one relationship that will last forever if we are able to keep working at it and that is the relationship with Jesus Christ! In our earthly relationships we should follow Christ’s guidelines of a relationship into place because for a successful and healthy relationship we must include Jesus, the key is to help each other get closer to our Lord and savior. That to me is the key and purpose of a relationship because we must first have a relationship with Him in order to understand what it takes to be another. Take to heart that in all the failed relationships we face, we must look at this, they were merely set up for us to look back and learn from them, pushing us forward to something better to come along, just keep on looking ahead because later on we will reach to the end of the tunnel it’ll all make sense, it will be waiting for us…. In all things, trust in Him, follow in His footsteps to a much more brighter end.

Partners Forever? Your Choice

Partnerships, what do you think about them? Bad? Good? In between? Whatever the case may be, great partnerships can and will last forever if true work and dedication is put into play.

As I was sitting in the car earlier this morning working, I was just soaking in all the silence that surrounded me and I as i always do picked up my book of daily devotions and read where I left off. Today’s(Sundays) devotion was on your partnership with God. I’d like to share with what it all said and then talk about it….”Do you seek a life of purpose, abundance, and fulfillment? If so, then you must form a partnership with God. You are God’s work-in-progress. God wants to mold your(ours) heart(s) and guide your(ours) path(s), but because He created you as a creature of free will, He will not force you to become His. That choice is yours alone, and it is a choice that should be reflected in every decision you make and every step you take. Today, as you encounter the challenges of everyday life, strengthen your partnership with God through prayer, through obedience, through praise, through thanksgiving, and through service. God is the ultimate partner, and He wants to be your(our) partner in every aspect of your life. Please don’t turn Him down”. 

 

That is some very powerful stuff right there if i say so myself, right? If you think you don’t have anyone that cares guess again because if or when you don’t know God is there ready to listen to all you have to say. Think you won’t ever find a partner? Guess again because the greatest of them all is Jesus Christ! As we go to our jobs whatever it may be, we try to do it to the best of our ability, so why don’t we strive more to do as much as we can in getting closer to our Lord? Can’t we put in the extra time to reach out, to get closer, make Him so proud of us just like we do at anything else in our lives? It’s hard, it takes time yes i know that from my own life but if we just take baby steps each day to praise Him I know we can see improvements happening because with His mercy and grace anything and everything is possible! As we go through the next couple of days let’s just give praise to our Lord for what He has so far done for us, for Him being so patient with us even when we were not obedient, when we were far from Him. Let’s get out there and just show everyone that with His mercy, His grace, with Him at our side everything is possible!

Be thankful for the many blessings in life

Hello everyone it’s been far too long since i last blogged on here so i’d just like to say hope everyone that is reading this is sharing the great news of God today! Because after all isn’t He the center of our lives or should be anyway? I’ve really been blessed and ya know something, sometimes it just takes one little hit to the head or ya know an event that happens to trigger that He is and forever will be the center of attention in our lives. I’m not gonna say much today as it’s been forever since i’ve been on here but i do want to stress to all that should we take life for what we want or should we take it and use it for His will for whatever that may be? Should we sit in sadness and shame or should we go out and be cheerful and glad for all that He has done for us because didn’t we wake up this morning, have food this morning, didn’t we walk up outta the house without anyone telling us what to do or where to go? Be thankful for all that you have and praise the Almighty Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for just who He is and what He is doing in our daily walk. Bless Everyone today! Love one another, greet others and respect as that is what you would want in return.

There’s always a helping hand out reaching for You

When I’m down, When I am lost, When I’ve got nothing else I look for the hand reaching out to me

Some were born without love, without anyone taking notice, without giving a moment of care. Some doesn’t know what it’s like to be loved, to be thought of even though they may think of themselves as nobody’s. Many are born feeling this way, God gives everyone a second chance, God gives us love everytime we fail, God gives us more love than ever asked for from us. God loves all, given as we all sin He still has love for us in the good and also in the bad times we go through. Well God wouldn’t have sent His only Son down unto earth to give His life for us if He didn’t have love for us would He?…No God forgives us but we must show Him that we love HIm back, that once we have become a child of God to go out and become examples of Him and all He’s done, if not then all He’s done was for nothing, it is to be shown throughout the world as it’s the most gracious thing that has been done…giving us a life to live, to give us to wake up to and look forward to each day, able to worship something that is still very much alive and is in time coming back to take us with to live in peace with Him forever! Is He real? Yes very much alive and still doing great works today. Does He love you? Of course He loves all, He may not like some choices we make but He doesn’t turn His back on anyone. People are one’s who have the choice to turn their backs to Him. I a christian for 6 or so years and still counting is a proud christian and is happy to try my best to be an example to others and to show why having God mine and whoever else that wants to accept Him in our hearts is such an awesome feeling, an awesome choice that i can now look back and say WOW! nothing else is better than believing on our Lord Jesus Christ everyday and to be the very best follower I can be towards Him and all He’s done thus far. Are you ready to accept Christ into your life, into your heart and serve Him? If already a follower of Christ, are you following Him? Are you living life according to the Lord? As christian’s we must as sometimes it is tough go out and be an image of God. It’s our duty to lead others to Him, It’s us that spreads the word of God so that all are able to worship together, lifting up His as it should. God gave all for us…shouldn’t we give all we have, shouldn’t we do everything we’ve got to give our Love to Him, to return the favor…..Worship Him! It’s unlike any feeling you’ve felt before or ever will.

Walking with Him…Easy or Tough?

I’ll start off saying walking by yourself sometimes just is so boring. As I love to talk all the time, its tough to not have somebody to talk to when walking alone. I am a guy that often takes little walks around my town(Harlan) which is not so much a big town, just a small little southern town filled with nice green trees, some of the most awesome mountains I’d say I’ve seen. As i walk i’ll take my nice little iPod touch and enjoy my music, and as i enjoy the music and walking I will also enjoy the nice scenery that surrounds me during this time of relaxation. Walking to me or even cycling is the best way to travel just because with these ways we get to enjoy what all is around us and take our time to really get the fully picture of the beautiful world that we normally don’t get to discover because we’re traveling so fast. A lot with life, we’re traveling through life it seems so quickly to get to the next day, we are wanting to grow up so fast and for what reason? Yes we are able to do more as with age but with what cost really? Age, it’s a number and thats it, with it i see nothing, we grow not with numbers but we grow each day closer, one step closer to God Almighty. We could be five or fifty, it doesn’t matter as we grow closer and stronger in Christ we get smarter. As people will say with age we get smarter well i look at it like this…”As we get closer to Christ, the more age doesn’t seem important”. This is just a saying i really came up with, hopefully if you read this maybe you’ll agree or maybe not..but regardless It seems like that to me. 

Like I have told everyone I am one for walking anywhere and everywhere. Sometimes it sure is good to have a partner to be along side of you. A lot of times i do though go alone not cause nobody is there to ask but I do a lot of thinking and just explore whats out there in the town i live in. Putting all this me walking around alone aside, I do ask if you think walking along side Jesus Christ is either easy or tough? You can ask yourself that question, think about it. Some or a lot will think that oh well everything is just so easy, everything will just fall into place, everything is gonna work out just perfect the way you want it to. Wrong, even though the walk with Christ is the most awesome thing that could ever happen to you in ur life..it isn’t always the easiest. I’ve had some tough trials along the way in following God but knowing that He’s there right beside me is the thing that keeps me going, keeps me holding my chin up high, and having that is something that is very special to me, going in and out of each day having that looking forward to is my way of getting through all toughness i come to face..So ask yourself, do you think walking with Jesus is easy or tough? If you haven’t accepted Him into your life, are you wondering if the path is tough…well all i can say is that It’s never which ever way you chose gonna be easy but one thing separates one from another, the Love of one…Christ Almighty!

God’s Love=Priceless

We all look back don’t we? We try to figure how, why, when did certain things happened. Either to correct our past or just looking at it we try to piece everything that’s happened so far and hope that we can either learn from it or to somehow fix the wrongs we’ve made thus far in life. I all the time find myself digging deep back into my early years of life and even just a year or so ago to see all i’ve been blind to.

As I’ve said above, Looking back into the past, isn’t always easy but it’s something we must do if we wish to fix the mistakes we’ve made and to move forward into the future. Looking ahead is scary because sometimes we are blind to what is next but also looking back is no easy task either. We all have past’s we wish not to hear, see, talk about but the past is the past and it’ll stick with us forever but the moral of it all is to look, remember, learn from it all and to make sure that we try and not end up doing those things again. The things we’ve had, we can either hang on to them or we can simply let them get away. Some things are too long gone to get back, some things are still in the present that are able to still catch onto if we go out and pursue it and then there are some that haven’t arrived just yet and those too, are scary because we have no sight to what they may be until time comes. I hate seeing things, people, gone. I hate leaving places and to never see them again. It’s sad to leave anything behind, but I can always tell people even though we may leave each other, we may leave places we wish not, we may never see or have a certain thing again we will always have Jesus Christ wherever we may go in life. Jesus isn’t going anywhere anytime soon, He’ll be our Holy Father as long as we trust, believe in Him and to look back into the past and although see wrongs, scary trials we have faced in, we can look into the past and find God there, we can look back and see how awesome God has been, how great He’s been to us though we’ve sinned…that is just something you can’t put a price on…it’s totally priceless. Cost of Earthly things=#of$ but……Cost of having Jesus in ur life=Priceless

God’s Song is like an iPod on repeat…It’s goes on Forever

 “The Lord was ready to save me;

Therefore we will sing my songs with stringed instruments

All the days of our life, in the house of the Lord.”

-(Isaiah 38:20)

We all have an iPod these days, being either it’d be an iPod nano, shuffle, touch we all have them to enjoy music while on the go. As over the years we’ve had many devices giving us a way to enjoy music anytime, anywhere, all the time. Music has always been a way to let people express themselves in all sorts of ways. Music is the sound of God, it’s one way to show, to express our love towards Him. You know when you are listening to an album, a song, or sets of songs that you can’t get enough of. You want to keep listening to them over and over again right?, well you just put your nice iPod on repeat and listen to your favorites all you want. God doesn’t give us music to go out and not use it for Him, we are to worship in His name. Go out and worship Him in any and all ways possible, that’s something special to my heart. Some are to become musicians, some to be writers, to be leaders, all to worship Him, to embrace His name, His story across the world to all! All things we do in our life should be an example of the Lord as He made us to be servants, followers of the Great One. Don’t you want to be an example of Him? Do you want to live a life fulfilling God’s reason for us being here? We go on in life on repeat. We go onto the next day to the next doing the same previously as before. To go around and worship with others in music, do it pleasing to the Lord. Do all things as to lift up God and not doing in any other way. So i bring this to a close but, before i do one last thought…..As an iPod on repeat goes on forever and ever, Are we ready to play loud, to where everyone is able to here God’s iPod?  Are we willing to keep God’s iPod on repeat forever and ever for all to listen?…Think about it, won’t ya.

The Lord Gives, We receive, Shouldn’t We give back?

Twenty One years, here I sit wondering…..

Twenty one years ago in London, KY a new born baby boy was born. As it was earlier than expected to be born this first born child was faced with many problems, it’s lungs had shut down, being unable to be with the mother for several days. As you look at this child with all it’s tubes, it’s having wires that has been put throughout it’s body being connected to a machine to keep it alive was just something that should have to happen to such a gift like a new born life, being pre-mature, born too young as 30 days before the day of it’s birth is already being tested. I believe that things happen for a reason, to show us a lesson, to reach out to us and make us think.

What did the child do to bring such a situation as this one upon it?

Why is it happening?

….These are questions that normally run through one’s mind.

At the age of four this child and he’s father as the father, in need of a trip to get some beer since he at the time was always drinking got into the little two door red car and drove off on the way to the destination of the father. Keep in mind it’s winter and as we are coming back from the un-needed trip are driving back over a mountain and as we are in this little two door red two wheel drive car come upon on what must have been black ice but not sure and suddenly started to go out of control and then as i open my eyes back up the car is half way hanging over the edge of the mountain. As i’m scared to death had a short brief flash back of my short lived life. That was the second near to death experience previous to the lung shutting down and being announced dead for at least five minutes, talk about have the most odd luck in such an early life span. As this child growing up had seen, been through already so much and well as most do he just went along with life. Living in earthly ways, just going with the flow having a good time as all does, knowing that all is only possible with the love of God doesn’t much give thought to how to repay back.

Luke 6:38 says….

“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”

We should give back to our Lord as He’s given everything for us. We should be thankful for such a God to love us that much that we repay Him any and all ways possible we can. As we live another day we should thank Him for it. As we have a roof over our heads, as we have food to eat we should give thanks to our great Lord. We take so many things for far more less than they really are.

Twenty One years later I as the child born 30 days early sits here wondering, I now look and give thanks for God giving me another chance. Another chance to go out and do what we all should do, should want to do and that is to let people hear about the great Jesus Christ and what’s he’s done for you in your life. We all have stories that’s been blessed, that’s been touched in some way that is only special to you, let your story out of how the Lord blessed ya and tell of how great God is and blessed are those will be!

Twenty One Years gone by, I now give back to God for giving me such a blessed journey so far my obedience to Him, to serve Him in the best possible way to keep His name as strong as ever before…..Whats your life’s story?

A Helping Hand

With a hand of another caring person on your shoulder, doesn’t it give us that safe feeling, the love feeling, the not so alone anymore feeling? It sure does give us all those i mentioned. When your alone it’s no fun and games, it’s totally a boring and useless day to day life huh? I hate when i take a walk/run anywhere and just look around and see people so down and walking alone, it’s something that needs fixing..they need a hand to be put on their shoulder’s to give them hope, a need of keep going on, pushing through it all in life. I may just have an answer to this long thinking process, it’s a five letter name that can help these in need. Everyone is like huh a five letter name and this name can help me through life, get me to keep going through the hard times in life…yes! This little five letter name might look small but is so much bigger than what the mind, the eyes see that’s beyond our dreams….okay it’s Jesus! The Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost three, but one being that can make feel with one, makes us feel like we can get geared up, ready to take on the world. He’s done  it all and God…GOD! gave His ONLY(one) Son to die on the cross for all of us so that we may one day be saved and to go out into this broken, dark world and spread this magnificent Light upon it and to bring Joy to His name once again! Doesn’t that just scream out at you? It does to me. We are to give our all for Him, to Him as He has given us everything. Going back to having a hand being placed on our shoulders in hard times, when we are faced with hard choices, if you do seem to wonder well there’s nobody around…think again God’s always here to give a hand on our shoulders if we just accept Him as Lord and Savior and in doing this God with His mercy will get us through the times that seem difficult to us. We must communicate, spread the word, we must obey Him in giving back is the gift of being here, it’s being the reason for breathing the air why we must go out and not follow in the earths steps but we must step onto the side and lead others to come with us as we go out there and serve the creator of the Heavens and of The earth! So want a helping hand to come and touch your shoulder? Ask God to come into your life, to bless you.
